   Afghan dari is known as khurassani language from 9th century , the capital was Balkh and sometimes Herat , those persians of afghan part used to be known as Tajiks, or more clearly a name gived by pahlavi persians to suni persians wat was known as Takharis, our Dari or Farsi darbari still sounds old and classic and beautiful but iranian persians is a mix of French grammar ” MAN DARAM MIRAM ” is this farsi grammar ? And many arabic words so we could call it Iranian language but no more farsi.

   @hmd3y The word afghan or pushto or in greek paxtoon were even mentioned in alexandre the great history line when he was fighting persians , What really did not exist 100 years ago that was the name of Iran in map, it was a little country before known as Arya and it was little , when we afghan persians gave mashad and few cities to arya , your king after 1935 named it Iran and also your persian is no more old afghan persian, it is a mix of arabic and french grammar wat means ur persian is cheap

   @AfghanMusicHD Nonsense! “Dari” (which is the shorter form of “Parsi-e Darbari”) is the written standard of the Persian language. This song is sung in the Kabuli dialect of Persian. Pashto, on the other hand, is an East Iranian language (unlike Persian, which belongs to the Western group). They are related, but Pashto is not “broken Persian”. The difference is as big as between English and German.

   @ ummah13 : yes , credit should be awarded to the origingal singer/ composer from afghanista, but more than that thks to the contemporary pakistani music frternity for bringing this lost jewel in form an upgraded and listenable treasure to the modern world.

   Zeb & Haniya are Pakistani singers. This is a cover of a classic Dari folk song. It is not a Pakistani song, nor does it contain Pashto. It’s Dari. The original artist is an Afghan singer by the name of Shamsudin Masroor. Other Afghan singers such as Salma Jahani etc have also done covers of this song.
   I’d just like to point that out. Please give credit where it is due. Just because these artists are from Pakistan, it doesn’t mean the song is. It is a great song and meant for everyone to enjoy!
