This makes me wanna go on a killing spree.
Miku and Rin were part of an organization that tried to quell the cult of people infected with the masks. However, Kaito was infected by the mask and Miku killed him before any more damage was done. Feeling weak and disconnected with how she killed him (he was probably her boyfriend or something) the mask got to her and she was infected as well because of her vulnerability. Rin, wanting to save her friend, confronted Miku and killed her unintentionally. Teto, a regular girl, was infected after.

@yang0shugo0chara this is my theory, this is still like a computer program or something only very advance and the Vocaloids are like the Antivirus, a Very deadly Virus inflitrated the program and was destroying it, slowly one by one the Vocaloids gets taken over and everytime the virus spreads between person to person, this time Miku got infected and told Rin to kill her and as shown in the vid Miku does dies but the Virus lives on spreading itself. The Mask and the Red eyes represent the virus.

@yang0shugo0chara Yeah. It’s hard to tell if Miku called out to Teto or Luka, though. Because the eyes near the end look blue. And it showed that Luka has blue eyes, though they are a bit narrower, and then Teto’s eyes look green because of the screen(I think).

@googlesonic sure i’ll try to but i’m not possitive on it all- Rin and miku were at one time best of freinds but miku was(lets say) corupted by darkness.Rin fought miku to keep her from destorying the world.But when everyone thought miku died and it was announced on tv miku (once again lets say) called out to teto(or luka) as teto(or luka) watched (or for luka reaported) it, in which i belive leads to the song ‘dream of a lucid plan’
