I think, and just opinion, it is his past persona he is conveying… “Sold rock” “I was a microchip of the old block” “I rolled hot” “I rode Pac” I think it’s all about buying into the gangsta mentality… riding as in riding on the coattails of Tupac. Total guess, but that’s what it means to me. It’s ok to like Tupac and I am sure he’s great but a poser is a poser and anyone who defines themselves by emulating others like that would just be a robot. As the song puts it.

The album version had it’s good and bad points, but I like to play it slowed down, using WMP.
The speed and confusion in the sound of the song is great for running, though.

I hated the album version of this. It was shrill and too crowded with excess noise, despite my love for Perfect Hair Forever. This, on the other hand, is amazing.
