I met my cousin Hagood only once, but his tune lives on in my memory. Thank you so much, he was not only a great Canadian musician, he was an inspiration to new musicians. You have done his piece beautifully.

hey guy I play this song and i have the original sheet music. this guy didn’t play it at all like it should be. he doesn’t even play the whole song! its way longer than that and all he’s doing is repeating the same thing over again in a higher octave. the original version is much more expressive, slower and longer.

Does anyone know where you can find the sheetmusic for this? I want to learn it, but I can’t seem to find the music anywhere… if anyone knows, send a message.

Wow when I read this, it’s almost as though I could understand the exact feeling you got, even though it’s impossible because I’m only seventeen. But this song seems to mean a lot to many people and yet we can all sort of relate even when we can’t explain how or why. I just thought your experience seemed beautiful and matched the song. Thank you for sharing.

  24. XxHitomixX says:

Wow, this really is the most beautiful version of the song I have ever heard and by far the best cover. Amazing how your fingers seem to flow over the keys.
